Where Is It Safe To Visit in Israel?

At the time of writing, March 2024, the National Emergency Portal of Israel declared that all areas, excluding the Gaza Envelope and the Confrontation Line at the northern border, are safe to operate as normal with no restrictions. The majority of the communities in the conflict zones have been evacuated and the residents have been relocated to various hotels and accomodations throughout the rest of the country. For this reason, it’s important to note that hotel availability is currently limited. At Tourist Israel, we constantly monitor vacancies in all Israel hotels, ensuring you get access to the cheapest rates.

Traveling to Israel? Here’s What to Expect

Overall, within the center of the country, life feels somewhat normal. Although the war is still ongoing in the south, and conflict continues in the north, the Israelis are a very resilient group of people and unfortunately have much experience operating under these conditions. If you’re traveling to Israel, you can expect a relatively calm experience. In the green-zone areas, beaches, museums, restaurants, and bars are all open as usual.
