Our overnight tour to Petra & Wadi Rum will provide you with an unforgettable chance to explore Jordan’s two most iconic sights, with two full days in Jordan. Leaving Eilat, you’ll cross into the Hashemite Kingdom, traveling towards Aqaba. Once there, you can explore the markets, enjoy a coffee and lunch-break, and relax at your own pace before heading towards Wadi Rum. Once in Wadi Rum, you will check into the Bedouin glamping style acommodation and enjoy optional activities in the area such as hiking or camel rides, or simply take in the surroundings. Optional activities can be arranged on the spot, locally. In the afternoon, head out on a Jeep Safari tour in the Wadi Rum desert. This is one of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth where the magic of the desert comes to life. The next morning, after breakfast, we’ll transfer to the lost city of Petra and enjoy a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site and see the main highlights including al Siq, the Petra Treasury, the Obelisk Tomb, and more. Enjoy free time in Petra to explore on your own, and soak up the stunning scenery. During your free time, hike to the Monastery or visit other sites in Petra. After a day of sightseeing and exploring, travel back to the border and cross back into Eilat, with drop-off at one of the centralized drop-off locations, and endless memories of Jordan. Petra & Wadi Rum 2 Day Tour from Eilat Highlights
- Cross the border into Jordan with border assistance (we aim to arrive at the border early to beat the crowds)
- Arrive in Aqaba and take some time to explore the city at your own pace. Optional: enjoy free time at a private beach and pool on the shores of the Red Sea.
- Explore Wadi Rum and its magical landscape with a Jeep Safari tour
- Enjoy free time in Wadi Rum to explore further, or for other activities such as hiking, camel rides, or even a hot air balloon ride
- Stay overnight in a Bedouin glamping campsite in Wadi Rum for an immersive experience that includes dinner and breakfast. You will sleep in Deluxe Tent with bed, electricity, private bathroom, heating and air conditioning
- Travel to Petra, with a view en route of Mt Haroun (Aaron's Tomb)

- 07:45 – Meet at the Arava border crossing (Israeli side)
- 08:00 – Border crossing into Jordan with assistance
- Head towards Aqaba from the border for free time to explore the market
- Please note: During this time, there will be a range of activities on offer for an additional charge. This includes a visit to a private beach and pool, or a boat ride on the Red Sea
- Transfer to Wadi Rum
- Jeep Safari tour in Wadi Rum with your local Bedouin guide
- Check in to Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum. Enjoy free time in Wadi Rum
- Authentic Jordanian Dinner at the Bedouin Camp including traditional Zarb(Bedouin barbecue), spreads, salads, bread, and more
- Overnight in Bedouin Camp, upgrades possible
- Optional stargazing experience in the desert and sunset camel ride
- Optional early morning camel ride at sunrise
- 07:00 – Breakfast at leisure in the Bedouin campsite
- 07:30 – Transfer to Petra including a view of Mount Haroun
- Arrive in Petra and begin your guided tour of the famous sites such as al Siq, the Petra Treasury, the Obelisk Tomb, the Calligraphy, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), the Tombs, the Theater, and the Mountaintop Tombs; the guided tour will be approximately 2 hours
- Free time in Petra including the time to explore the Monastery & enjoy lunch in a local restaurant
- Meet at the exit of Petra
- Return journey back to the border
- Arrive at the border crossing
- 18:30 – Return to Eilat, the tour ends at the border
