Our Petra 2 Day Tour from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem is available every Tuesday and allows plenty of time to discover every corner of the “Rose City”, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The tour includes all transfers and a comprehensive guided tour by our licensed guide on the first day. The second day is for independent exploration (with entry fees included!) where you can hike to locations far away from the entrance, such as the Monastery, or explore in more depth the sites of Petra that captivate you. In the evening, return to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv in our comfortable vehicles, with unforgettable memories of one of the most stunning places in the world! Petra 2 Day Tour from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Highlights
- Cross into Jordan aided by our assistants, and drive to Petra in our comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. Be one of the first to arrive at the border before the crowds
- Travel to Petra, along Jordan's Desert Highway, stopping en route at Mt Haroun (Aaron's Tomb)
- Experience a guided tour of the ‘lost city of Petra’ and comprehensively explore the city, one of the Seven Wonders of the World including al Siq, the Obelisk Tomb, the Calligraphy, the Treasury, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), the Tombs, the Theater, and the Mountaintop Tombs. - 02:00 – Pickup from Tel Aviv
- 03:00 - Pick up from Jerusalem, road transfer through the Negev Desert to Eilat
- 08:00 – Border crossing into Jordan
- 09:00 – Drive through the desert
- 11:00 – Quick stop en route to Petra, view of Mount Haroun (Aaron’s Tomb) in the distance
