You will leave Jerusalem in the early morning and drive to Eilat, across the spectacular landscape of the Israeli Negev desert, catching the sunrise on the way. After border crossing aided by our representative, you will travel across the Jordanian desert to Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the legendary Seven Wonders. Enjoy a guided tour in English by our licensed guide and discover the Nabatean city with its highlights, such as the Petra Treasury, the Siq, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Tombs and Theater. Petra Tour from Jerusalem Highlights

Drive through Israel’s Negev Desert including the Ramon Crater, seeing the sunrise on the way.
Cross the border into Jordan, and head north towards Petra, on the Jordanian Desert Highway. Stop on the way for a view of Mt Haroun (Aaron’s Tomb).
Arrive in Petra, and enjoy a tour of the archaeological site by our licensed and experienced local guide.
The tour will include highlights of Petra such as the Siq, Obelisk Tomb, Calligraphy, Petra Treasury, Jabal Madbach (sacrificial palace), Tombs, Theater, Mountaintop Tombs. Tour is guided by our English language guide in groups of a maximum of 25 people.

Price does not include border fees of US$65 which should be paid in USD cash at the border, Jordanian visa fee of $60 for those who have not pre-arranged a visa. Price does not include tips.
Tour departs from Jerusalem every day.
Our tour departs as early as possible to ensure timely arrival to the border crossing. Arriving first means a quick crossing procedure and more time spent in Petra.
Tour includes a water bottle. For those interested in eating at a local restaurant in Petra, this can be done during the free time on the tour, both inside or outside Petra.
Maximum of 25 passengers per group (in Petra). Please note that while in transportation, groups may be larger. We find that larger buses are more comfortable and accommodating. However, the time spent guided in Petra will be a maximum of 25 passengers per group.
Our Petra tour aims to include approximately 4-6 hours in Petra, including 2 hours guided tour and free time. Also, our vehicle goes directly from Jerusalem to the border and you will not have to drive through another city on the way.
Return transportation is approximately 4 hours.
You may cancel this tour via email up to 24 hours in advance of the tour start time for a 95% refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time, no refund will be given.

Israeli passport holders (or holders of dual passports with an Israeli passport) must use their Israeli passport at every border crossing.

Please note that during Ramadan the tour will cross to Israel by 18:00, due to earlier closure of the border.
