February in Israel is a month of change as winter draws to an end, and many annual events take place in the milder weather. February 2016 in Israel includes an amazing selection of concerts, as well as music festivals, exhibitions, and the first trickle of events that take advantage of Israel’s great Spring weather.
February 2016 Events in Israel
Mondays in February – The Winter Noize Festival returns to Jerusalem with its array of music concerts, dance shows, art exhibitions, film screenings, poetry readings and cooking classes for a celebration of Israeli modern culture. Not to be missed!
February 1-6 – Eilat Chamber Music Festival. Enjoy the largest classic music festival in Israel, taking place on the Red Sea.
February 3-6 – Women Tennis Fed Cup. Fourteen nations compete this year in Eilat for the Women Tennis Fed Cup
Winter Noize Festival is taking place in the streets of Jerusalem, each Monday in February
February 5-6 – Alphaville in Tel Aviv. Alphaville are coming to Israel as part of their European tour.
February 8-18 – Australian Film Festival. The festival presents some of the best Australian cinematography, at the Jerusalem Cinematheque.
February 18-19 – DJs W&W in Tel Aviv. Dance on the music of W&W, amongst the first 15 DJs in the world!
February 27 – Greg Dulli in Tel Aviv. The American musician is returning to Tel Aviv for his show “An Evening with Greg Dully”
February 24-25 – Jethro Tull, The Rock Opera in Tel Aviv. Ian Anderson’s show celebrates the life of English agricultural inventor, Jethro Tull, with songs and multimedia performances.
