The Tel Aviv Marathon will be returning on February 28, 2020 to Tel Aviv, the Mediterranean Capital of Cool. With a series of running events including a full marathon, half marathon, 10km and 5km run, as well as 42km hand cycle race for people with special needs, the marathon day will be full of action as participants will see some of the greatest sites of this beautiful city. This is the biggest sporting event in Israel, with more than 35 thousand runners!
The prize for any runner who breaks the marathon record of 2:07:59 is $40,000.
The Tel Aviv Marathon will give runners a unique perspective over the city, with the course starting from the Tel Aviv Convention Center, continuing to the boardwalk and along the Mediterranean shore. The run continues through the ancient and fascinating port city of Jaffa. The marathon will take off at Rokach Boulevard, and 40 thousand people from around the world are expected to participate!
