Sukkot in Tel Aviv is a time of many exciting events, and it certainly isn’t just for kids! The city is in holiday-mode and there are loads of amazing art, music, and sporting events taking place across town. This year, in 2023, the festival falls between September 29th – October 6th. What’s on in Tel Aviv on Sukkot, 2022
International Storytelling Festival in Givatayim theatre
In Givatayim, just a few minutes from Tel Aviv, the International Storytelling Festival features many of Israel’s top writers and storytellers, with special guests from around the world. From October 6-17, 2022.
DGTL Festival
The DGTL Festival is returning to Tel Aviv on October 10th, 2022. The festival will take place in the Haryakon Park and brings Israel’s hottest new DJ’s to the public. Some of the DJs playing are Red Axes, Tale of Us, Beggy, Motor City Drum Ensemble, and many more.
Jaffa International Kids Theater Festival
From October 9-16, 2022, the Arab-Hebrew Theater organizes many plays and shows organized for the entire family.
Watersports
Across Israel, Sukkot is great weather and canyoning, caving, paragliding, surfing, windsurfing, etc, are all incredibly popular and accessible whether you are a novice or experienced. Try something new! More information about watersports.
Abu Gosh Music Festival
This family friendly, multi-cultural festival takes place every year during Sukkot. While the festival used to occur in a church in the town of Abu Gosh, the festival has moved to Tel Aviv during recent years and sees musicians, eateries, and artists come together. This year, it takes place 11-13th October.
