Kenya Airways is set to start operating a direct flight route from Nairobi, Kenya to Israel. The route was set to begin in March 2019, but this plan was postponed due to political differences between Sudan and Israel. However, after a diplomatic breakthrough, the airline is just waiting for approval from Sudan to fly over its airspace to Tel Aviv. This comes after El Al was granted permission on February 21, 2020 to fly over Sudan airspace. The exact date the flights will begin operating, as well as the days and prices of the flights, are yet to be announced.
