A direct flight route from Israel to Hanoi, Vietnam is scheduled to debut on October 2023, followed by two weekly flights operated by VietJet Air. This decision was established through an agreement signed between Economy and Industry Minister, Nir Barkat and his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyễn Hồng Diên. This move is expected to save travelers approximately 8.5 hours of travel time on their journeys to Vietnam. Furthermore, Israelis can now apply for electronic visas for an easier and more seamless entry process. Minister Barkat emphasized that these significant developments will not only facilitate travel but also enhance trade and business ties between the two nations.
