WizzAir are set to launch flights from London Luton to Tel Aviv with four flights a week beginning in June 2017. WizzAir who currently fly to Tel Aviv from around 10 cities in Eastern Europe, will open flights from London to Tel Aviv, directly competing with easyJet, Monarch, and El Al who fly from Luton, as well as British Airways, and Israeli charter airlines Arkia and Israir who run seasonal flights to London. WizzAir will operate their flights from London to Tel Aviv every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday using an Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats and A321 aircraft with 230 seats. Flights begin on June 24, 2017, and tickets will be on sale shortly.
