Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch flights between Vilnius, Lithuania and Eilat, Israel into the new Ramon Airport starting October 2019. Currently, Wizz Air is operating between 14 and 16 flights per week into Eilat and will increase the number with the new route between Vilnius and Eilat. Additionally, the flight cost will be lower due to a government subsidy grant. Other flight routes operating by Wizz into Eilat include Bucharest, Budapest, Vienna, Warsaw, Sofia, and Riga.
