Dutch low-cost airline Transavia, taking advantage of the open skies agreement between Israel and European countries, will begin direct flights from Munich to Tel Aviv in September 2016. Transavia, who already fly to Tel Aviv from Amsterdam, Paris, and Lyon, will join El Al, Arkia, Tuifly, and Lufthansa in offering flights from Munich to Tel Aviv when they begin to operate the route four times a week with fares starting from 69 EUR one way.
