Beginning on April 2, 2020, S7 Airlines (JSC Sibera Airlines) will start operating direct flights from Novosibirsk, Siberia to Tel Aviv. According to the Israel Tourism Ministry, more than half of Russian tourists come from near Siberia. Until now, they have had to transfer through Moscow before continuing on to Ben Gurion Airport. Flights are set to begin on April 2, 2020 using the new A320neo planes. The cost will be $420 without baggage and $510 with baggage. Each flight will take around 6.5 hours.
