Lufthansa will fly from Munich and Frankfurt, Germany, to Eilat, Israel in October 2018

German airline Lufthansa is starting new flights from Munich and Frankfurt, in Germany, to Eilat, Ovda Airport, in Southern Israel, starting from October 2018. 2018 is the 50th year anniversary of Lufthansa flying to the country! These two new connections are the first flights to Eilat by Lufthansa and they are expected to further increase the expanding number of tourists from Germany to Israel. The flights are arranged in cooperation with the Israeli Tourism Minister, who is successfully working towards promoting incoming tourism from all over Europe. The flight from Munich to  Eilat will run twice a week, on Tuesday and Saturday, while the flight from Frankfurt to Eilat will run on Sunday and Monday. Both Lufthansa routes, from Munich and Frankfurt to Eilat, are set to open on October 28, 2018.
