El Al to launch flights between Tokyo, Japan and Tel Aviv, Israel from March 2023

Israeli Airline El Al is expected to launch a new direct flight route that will be launched between Tokyo, Japan and Tel Aviv, Israel. This is the first time a direct flight route will exist between Israel and Japan. Launching in March 2023, this new flight route will make it easier than ever to travel between the two countries without a layover in between. The flights are expected to operate twice times a week on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The flight is expected to operate twice a week, with departures from Tel Aviv on Tuesday and Saturday evenings at 20:45, landing in Tokyo at Narita Airport at 14:15, with a flight time of approximately 11 hours and 15 minutes. Leaving from Tokyo’s Narita Airport to Tel Aviv the flight will be approximately 12.5 hours, departing at 16:15 and landing in Tel Aviv at 22:45. Those arriving in Tokyo could take a tour in Tokyo or package tour around Japan with our sister company, Tourist Japan, who are offering many options.
