Accessing Tel Aviv for German travelers just got a little cheaper and easier with the news that easyJet will launch three flights every week from Berlin to Tel Aviv. Following successful routes from London, Geneva, Basel, Rome, and Manchester, easyJet’s flights from Berlin to Tel Aviv will begin three times a week, however are expected, if successful, to increase as has happened with other routes in the past. The line from Berlin to Tel Aviv is currently served by El Al, Israir, Lufthansa, and Air Berlin, and is popular, with Germany a leading source of tourists to Israel, and Berlin a favored destination among Israelis. The flights are expected to begin in February 2014.
