Direct flight routes from Shanghai to Tel Aviv, Israel are expected to open soon, operated by either El Al or Hainan Airlines. The Ministry of Tourism has shown interest in promoting Chinese tourism to Israel, whilst increasing business connections between the two countries also part fuel the demand, which will be aided by the support of the establishment of this new direct route with financial aid by the Ministry of Tourism. Chinese tourism to Israel is already expected to rise, considering also the new direct flight from Beijing to Tel Aviv launched in April, 2016, by Hainan Airlines.
