Canadian airline, Air Transat, will launch direct flights from Montreal to Tel Aviv in June 2017. Canada’s only existing direct flight connection to Tel Aviv is from Toronto which is served by Air Canada and El Al, and the new flight from Montreal will add another important connection between the two countries. Air Transat will begin their flights from Montreal to Tel Aviv on June 18, 2017, with two flights every week between the two cities until the end of October, operated on Airbus A330 aircraft.
