The Hula Valley Bird Festival is will return in November 2016 following the great successes of previous years. The Hula Valley is one of the most important stopover and wintering sites for birds migrating south through the Great Rift Valley, and the Hula Valley Bird Festival takes place at one of the most active times for this migration – featuring events, tours, seminars, and much more. The 2016 Hula Valley Bird Festival takes place between November 20-27, 2016.

The festival will include birding tours, photography seminars, and a large scale scientific conference, amid the stunning location of the Hula Valley, Hula Nature Reserve, and surroundings which hosts thousands of wintering Common Cranes, Pelicans, Ducks, Waders and Passerines every year. For the first time ever, the Hula Valley Bird Festival will head down to the Negev Desert for the final weekend of the festival. Participants will get to view rare desert birds and raptors in a unique desert setting.
