Akko Festival in Akko, Israel: October, 2027 (Dates TBC)

The Akko Festival takes place every year in Akko on Israel’s northern coastline, and it’s certainly one of the top 5 reasons to visit Akko. In 2027, the festival is expected to take place in October at the Fringe Theater Festival, set among the Crusader ruins and beachfront promenades of Akko’s Old City. 

This event tends to fall out during the Jewish festival of Sukkot and features special performances of original, avant-garde fringe theater in Israel and from around the world by some 500 artists. This year, the festival returns with bigger and better acts, from street theater to interactive performances. Ticket price varies from NIS 20 to NIS 75.
