The 4th edition of The Jerusalem Biennale: For Heaven’s Sake! will be held in Jerusalem, Israel from October 10 until November 28, 2019. Committed to the exploration of the intersectionality between contemporary art and the Jewish world, the Jerusalem Biennale fosters awareness for these concepts through photography, video art, installation, and performance. This exhibition brings together professional artists, who intertwine Jewish thought, tradition, and culture into their pieces and exhibit their works in Jerusalem. This exhibition brings together over 200 professional Israeli and international professional artists. Exhibitions will be held in various locations in Jerusalem including Beit Hasid, Tower of David, Bezeq Building, Skirball Museum, and other historic sites. Each venue is open daily to the public and pre-arranged tours are available directly with the venues, visitors should contact them directly.

The Jerusalem International YMCA building, Wolfson Museum for Jewish Art, At the Underground Prisoners’ Museum, Hebrew Union College Jerusalem Campus, the Van Leer Jerusalem Research Institute, the Clal Center, Hutzot Hayotzer and the Menachem Begin Heritage Center.
Gallery talks, panel discussions with artists and curators, music and dance performances will be available, as well as private and group tours guided in English and Hebrew.
