The Eilat Chamber Music Festival is one of Israel’s largest classical music, taking place each winter in the southern Israeli city of Eilat. The festival attracts world acclaimed musicians and ensembles who gather to give chamber and orchestral concerts, opera, dance and gypsy music. The 2016 Eilat Festival for Chamber Music will take place on February 1-6, and will feature two international orchestras: Les Dissonances from France and the Baroque orchestra Concerto Koeln from Germany.
The festival will host host top international musicians including accordion player Vincent Peirani, violinists Yossif Ivanov and Marianna Vasileva, pianist Ivan Rudin, cellists Francois Salques and Hillel Zori, and the flamenco diva Pastora Galavan. For the first time at this festival, a concert for the family with the actor/clown Fyodor Makarov.
