Eilat Beaches

Many travelers venture to Israel just to enjoy the beautiful and magical Eilat beaches. Visitors are quickly drawn to the 10 km long shoreline surrounding the Red Sea. The water is clean, clear and always refreshing. Because temperatures outside never usually drop below 68 degrees and it only rains about 12 days a year, Eilat is a perfect resort town.

On the beach, just gaze up and see the vast Eilat mountains all around. Look across the water into Jordan, where you may later consider doing a tour to Petra. While some of the beaches are made of soft, gentle sand, other areas are more authentic with rough sand or pebbles.
