Legendary rock band Queen and American singer and songwriter Adam Lambert are set to give a joint performance in Tel Aviv, Israel in September 2016. Queen is a band that does not need introduction: formed in 1970 with Freddie Mercury as front man, they are one of the most iconic and influential rock bands of the last century. After Mercury’s death in 1991, the Queen have performed with Paul Rodgers and, more recently, with Adam Lambert. Adam Lambert is a singer and songwriter who became known to the public after winning the 8th edition of American Idol. According to Queen, he would meet their legendary frontman’s approval, and this collaboration gave birth to the album “Queen Forever” in 2014. This summer the Queen and Adam Lambert are touring Europe presenting pearls of the band’s discography along with Lambert’s original songs. Their Tel Aviv concert will take place on September 12 at Park Hayarkon.
