Following in the footsteps of many of the world’s major cities, Tel Aviv has its own 3D printing experience, which has opened in January 2014 in Jaffa, in the south of the city. Visitors to the 3D Factory are, for the most part, totally new to 3D printing, and the store’s 3D printers are something totally new, able to print 3D objects quickly and accurately.
Visitors to the store are able to see 3D printing in action and learn about the technology which underpins it, as well as purchase 3D printed objects and even design and print their own items. The store runs workshops and individuals can use the in-store computer to design or select from online libraries, objects to print.
