Our Tel Aviv Shabbat Dinner Experience, led by an expert local chef, is available every Friday night. The experience offers a unique way to spend a Friday evening in Tel Aviv and enjoy a modern yet authentic and traditional Jewish shabbat dinner, surrounded by a mixture of modern Israeli and traditional Jewish cuisine. Shabbat evening is the start of the Jewish day of rest (from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday), the traditional evening where Jewish families throughout history eat together. You’ll encounter traditional customs with a modern twist – such as a ceremony including lighting the Shabbat candles and traditional prayers, as well as an explanation of the customs and history of Shabbat. The meal, enjoyed with locals and visitors from around the world (Jewish and non-Jewish), will be prepared by a local chef fusing traditional Jewish shabbat foods from around the world with local modern day Israeli dishes. The menu will include 5 courses and special dietary requirements can be accommodated by adding comments in your booking.
