Top women players come to sunny Eilat to compete in the Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone Group I tennis event, on February 3-6, 2016. Fourteen nations including Great Britain, South Africa, Ukraine and Belgium will be competing for two berths in April 16-17ths Fed Cup World Group II playoffs. Israel competes in Pool C with Croatia, Estonia and Turkey. Featured Israelis include Shahar Peer, Julia Glushko, Alona Pushkarevsky, Shelly Krolitzky and Maya Tahan. The team’s new coach is Sandra Wasserman and the team’s captain Tzipi is Hirsh Obziler, both former tennis professionals.
