Dutch airline Transavia is launching a direct flight from Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, to Ovda airport (Eilat) in Israel. This is the first and only route so far from the Netherlands to Ovda, and it will run twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Transavia is already operating direct flights from Amsterdam to Ben Gurion, and the number of Dutch tourists in Israel has been increasing the past years. The new flight route will connect Schiphol airport in Amsterdam with Ovda airport near Eilat and the flights will be operative from November 3rd, 2018.
