Our vegan food tour of Tel Aviv takes you inside the booming vegan culture of the city, giving you a cultural backdrop to the vegan wave which is overtaking Tel Aviv, and an insider guide to help navigate the wide choice of vegan options in town. Our vegan food tour of Tel Aviv will take you to a selection of Tel Aviv’s most popular vegan eateries, offering the chance to taste their most interesting vegan dishes. The tour is available with guaranteed departures, and is three hour long, beginning at a boutique vegan restaurant with second-hand, eco-friendly furniture and continuing through some the hottest areas of Tel Aviv, visiting different restaurants and eateries, including a vegan bakery and vegan ice-cream shop.
Tel Aviv is now considered to be a haven for vegans, with the city’s vegan cuisine drawing from the traditional Israeli cuisine (based on fresh fruit and vegetables, locally grown and easily available at street markets such as Carmel Market) and from the culinary melting-pot which is characteristic of Tel Aviv. The result are unique and dynamic expressions of vegan food, which can be found in almost every restaurants and eatery in Tel Aviv. Vegan food is also naturally kosher (non-diary, non-meat) and has been easily incorporated in Israeli food habits.
