- Head from Jericho back to Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesse (King David's father) and Jesus.
- Cross Manger Square and visit the Church of the Nativity, built in the 4th century over the grotto where Jesus was born.
- See various points of interest in the Church of Nativity complex, including the Grotto of Nativitiy, the Crusader Church of Saint Catherine and see the underground grotto where Saint Jerome translated the Bible from Hebrew to Latin.
- Finally, head to Shepherds Field, the place in the Bible where the Angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds on Christmas night and announced the birth of Christ.
