Day 1 - Arrival in Athens
  • Arrive in Athens and make your way to your hotel
  • Overnight in Athens
Day 2 - Athens
  • Start off your Greek adventure with a fascinating insider urban tour of Athens.
  • An expert local guide will take you to six different neighborhoods with unique characters, explaining the development of Athens from ancient town to bustling modern metropolis.
  • After stopping for coffee in a secret courtyard in the heart of the city, continue on to the flea market.
  • Learn all about contemporary Athens, from its street art to trendy eateries to political hotbeds, while getting the lay of the land and feeling the vibe of the city.
  • The rest of the afternoon is free for solo explorations! Stay on in one of the dynamic neighborhoods you have visited, or head to the Acropolis, Parthenon, or the Archaeological Museum for the afternoon.

Day 3 - Nafplio & Epidaurus
  • Head out of Athens on a scenic drive to stunning Nafplio.
  • Stop at a historical highlight and sip Greek coffee on the way, enjoying the panoramic views.
  • Climb the 999 steps to the Castle of Palamidi and look out over the beautiful Argolic Gulf.
  • Enjoy the layers of Venetian, Byzantine, Ottoman, and modern Greek architecture and learn how they tell the story of Greek's first capital city.
  • Enjoy the local atmosphere of the city's oldest district before either visiting Komboloi Museum (optional addition) to see a collection of worry beads from across the world.

Day 4 - Meteora by train
  • Depart Athens once again for the UNESCO World Heritage site of Meteora, a beautiful location home to 6 isolated ancient monasteries.
  • Enjoy a guided tour of the fascinating history of the site, the legends of the religious hermits, and the lives of contemporary monks.
  • Enter 3 of the monasteries and the hermit caves of Badovas, while enjoying the incredible views.
  • Then, take a scenic train ride to Thessaloniki (included) and arrive to your hotel independently.

Day 5 - Thessaloniki Food Tour
  • Meet your local guide at a centralized location in Thessaloniki and head out on a delicious food tour.

Day 6 - Free Day in Thessaloniki

Day 7- Flight to Tel Aviv
  • Make your way to the Thessaloniki airport independently for your flight to Tel Aviv.

Day 8 - Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv Tour: Please note that there will be 30 minutes between each of the 3 portions of the tour. Your guide will be able to walk with you from each section's end location to the next section's start location, or you may make your way there on your own.
