The Tel Aviv White City Music Festival is a unique festival which fuses jazz, funk, rock and roll, and other diverse genres as diverse as Indian folk music and Balkan Beat. The White City Music Festival lasts for 10 days in the month of May, and features a great array of distinguished Israeli and international musicians who come together to celebrate the diverse and vibrant cultural scene of Tel Aviv. The first Tel Aviv White City Music Festival will take place in 2012, hosted by Bobby McFerrin, and will take place between May 1-10.
Among the diverse program of the 2012 White City Music Festival are four Bobby McFerrin concerts, and performances by Shlomo Gronich, Oi Va Voi, Steve Hackett, Courtney Pine, Regina Carter, Shlomi Shaban, and Marsh Dondurma. As well as the paid concerts, there will be free street performances and a number of jam sessions. The festival will take place at the Tel Aviv Port in Hangar 11
