The Taste of Galilee Food Festival is an annual food festival taking place during the Hanukkah holiday in the region around the Sea of Galilee and Jordan Valley in the north of Israel. Between the December 3-12, 2015 restaurants, cafes and kibbutzim throughout the region will be serving additional themed dishes as well as hosting an array of food-related workshops and cultural musical performances. The aim of the Taste of the Galilee Food Festival is to bring awareness of the rich culture and culinary present in the north of Israel. And, the warm climate even during the ‘winter’ months makes this the perfect time of year to escape from the center and explore this part of the country.
