Ryanair Planning to Launch “Israeli Version”

Ryanair confirmed that they want to start flights to Tel Aviv

Europe’s biggest low-cost airline, Ryanair is planning to launch an Israeli version of their European airline according to an interview with their CEO, Michael O’Leary. Ryanair have promised Israel’s tourism authorities that they would be able to bring 4 to 5 million extra tourists a year to Israel, by revolutionizing the flight market between Russia, Central Europe, the UK, and Germany, among other countries. The new airline would see aircraft based in Israel, and would transform the cost and availability of flights to and from Israel.

Ryanair have stated that they plan to launch flights to Tel Aviv numerous times over the past few years, but have struggled to receive approval from the Israeli authorities.
