Roxette, the Swedish pop duo will performing at a concert in Tel Aviv this fall in what will be their first performance in Israel. The concert will be held at Tel Aviv’s Exhibition Grounds on October 22, 2011. The initial tickets will be sold online for NIS 295 ($85), later rising to NIS 370 ($107).
Roxette was formed in the early 1980’s by Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle and counts among its greatest hits “How Do You Do”, “It Must Have Been Love” (which was included in the soundtrack of Hollywood blockbuster “Pretty Woman”) and many others.
Their Israel concert will follow the release of Roxette’s eighth album, “Charm School” and is expected to be performed in front of as many as 1 million fans from different countries.
