Jewish American comedian Rita Rudner is heading to Tel Aviv to bring us one of her legendary standup performances. Rita’s show is the longest running solo comedy show in the history of Las Vegas, with a million and a half tickets sold in 14 years! The comedian began her career as a ballet dancer in Broadway, and later became an actress and screenplay writer, together with her husband Martin Bergam.
She was nominated for several awards for her “Rita Rudner’s One Night Stand” and she won the American Comedy Award for Funniest Stand Up Comedian in 1990. We’ve seen her as regular guest on The Tonight Show and on Late Night with David Letterman and we are looking forward to assist to her witty performance in Israel. Rita Rudner will perform at Zappa Club, Herzliya on April 9, 2016.
