In the city center of Jerusalem, not far from the Machane Yehuda Market sits family-run restaurant, Nagila. Offering homely vegan food in a comfortable atmosphere, Nagila is one of only a small number of vegan restaurants in Jerusalem. Nagila’s has a varied menu which does not resemble many vegan restaurants. Among the dishes are twists on many popular local dishes, prepared in a vegan style, but accessible to even the least vegan among us. Among the highlights on the menu are a vegan moussaka with eggplant and tofu, vegan hamburger, and a coconut curry stew.
