Jerusalem will host a Japanese Cultural Festival, a week of events dedicated to the culture, arts, and cuisine of Japan, which will take place in October 2014. The week-long festival includes a wide range of events including as cinema, sports, art, technology and gastronomy, and takes place at four venues across the city between October 19-25, 2014. A full event schedule can be found at the link below, but among the event highlights are the opening ceremony at the First Station on Monday 20 at 19:00 which will present a colorful diverse spectrum of Japanese culture, the sumo wrestling workshop which will place at the First Station on Tuesday 21 at 18:00 in the presence of two masters, and numerous culinary events.
