Grammy award winning jazz pianist Hiromi returns to Israel with a concert in Tel Aviv in November 2015. In a performance titled, Hiromi: The Trio Project, Hiromi will be joined by famous bass guitarist Anthony Jackson and virtuoso drummer Simon Phillips. Born in Japan, Hiromi began taking piano lessons at age six and began to perform in public by 12 years old. She played with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at age 14 and after graduating from college in the United States produced her debut album, “Another Mind.”
Hiromi, Jackson and Phillips first started working together in 2011. Since then, they have produced three albums together: “Voice”, “Move”, and “Alive”. Hiromi: The Trio Project will perform at Hanger 11 in Tel Aviv, Israel on November 16, 2015.
