For just one night, Contact Point will turn the the Israel Museum in Jerusalem into a night time art experience that visitors will never forget. This is the sixth year of this program where those who attend do not just observe, but also participate and respond to the art they witness.
The event on August 6, 2015, lasts from dusk until 3 am and includes dozens of artists performing throughout the museum and art garden. Visitors will be engaged through music, dance, speech and other artistic ways.
Contact Point will occur in conjunction with Israel Museum’s 50th anniversary. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy the museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions. The program will include a series of special exhibits produced specifically for this celebration. The event lasts from 10 pm-3 am and costs NIS 60. Tickets are on sale now.
