Coldplay will perform in Israel for the first time, in November 2017. Coldplay is one of the most successful bands in contemporary music, with their last album “A Head Full of Dreams” selling almost 2 million copies worldwide. Maybe this news doesn’t come as a surprise, after two Israeli directors were chosen by the band to direct the video for the single “Up & Up” (Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia), and after the lead singer Chris Martin has recently visited Israel. The concerts will be labelled as “Human rights concerts”, with tickets sold amongst both Israelis and Palestinians. Coldplay will perform two concerts in Israel, on November 3 and 4, in venue to be confirmed. More details will follow as they come to light.
