American rock musician Chris Cornell will be giving two concerts in Israel in May 2016 – in Tel Aviv and Caesarea, about 40 minutes north of the city. Known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Soundgarden and lead vocalist for Audioslave, Cornell has been ranked number 4 in “Heavy Metal’s All-Time Top 100 Vocalists” by Hit Parader.
Following his career as the lead vocalist in two established rock groups, Chris Cornell has built up a strong solo career, releasing five solo albums. He is known, among other things, for performing the theme tune to James Bond film Casino Royale in 2006.
Chris Cornell will perform at the Tel Aviv Palace of Culture on May 6, 2016. Tickets begin at NIS 213 and can be purchased here. He will give a concert at the Caesarea Amphitheater on May 7, 2016.
