Ben Gurion Walk. November 29, 2014

The annual Ben Gurion Walk, from Midreshet Ben Gurion through the surrounding Negev Desert, offers an organized hike for families, groups, and individuals alike. The hike takes place in the desert surroundings to the place that Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion, called home, starting at Ben Gurion College, and following one of three trails. Along the way, will be activities, a Bedouin camp with tea and coffee, eagle viewing, and other musical, craft, and activity stalls. The Ben Gurion Walk takes place on November 29, 2014.

The three trails for the Ben Gurion Walk:

1. A 7km family trail with activities along the way starting at 8am-10am

2. A 15km intermediate family/group trail starting at 8am-10am

3. A 22km advanced trail with a stop at Ben Gurion’s home at Sde Boker starting at 7am

Following the walk will be a unique closing ceremony will take place at the Ben Gurion Grave Site.
