Israel's four seas (the Mediterranean, the Sea of Galilee, The Dead Sea, and the Red Sea) offer an amazing variety of swimming experiences. The beaches of Israel look beautiful! An essential Israeli experience is to enjoy a fun game Matkot on the beach. Matkot is two paddles with a small rubber ball. The object of the game is to simply hit the ball back and forth. You will see Israelis playing this game and yelling at each other. Of course, the beaches have every activity other beaches have such as surfing, windsurfing, chess, beach volleyball, and soccer.
