The one day Sunbeat Festival will be one of the highlights of the month

May 24-June 14: Israel Festival – three weeks of cultural events, mostly in Jerusalem, ranging from jazz to classical music, drama to dance, and much more.

May 31-June 6: Comedy for Koby – top American comedians in Israel to perform for charity – performances in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Raanana, and more.

June 3-4: Rufus Wainwright Concerts in Israel – on June 3, he will perform in Ga’ash just north of Tel Aviv, and on June 4 in Tel Aviv. As of late May, there are still tickets available.

June 6-14: Jerusalem Festival of Light - a massive international festival in which light displays take over the Old City of Jerusalem. Magnificent.

June 6: Symphony X Concert in Tel Aviv – the heavy metal rockers will come to Tel Aviv

June 7-12: Carmen at Masada – amazing performances of Carmen in the desert fortress Masada as part of the Israel Opera Festival.

June 8: Tel Aviv Gay Pride Parade – one of the top gay pride events in the world, it comes as part of a week of festivities.

June 15: Afghan Whigs Concert in Tel Aviv – big name group from the 1990′s come to Tel Aviv.

June 16: Sunbeat Music Festival – a one day top quality world music festival drawing artists from Europe and Israel to perform in the Galilee. Part one of three to be held over the summer.

June 19-21: Summer Solstice Stew & Saz Festival – the first ever festival with a twist, taking place in the north of Israel over this weekend.

June 20-September 8: The Jerusalem Season of Culture brings with it a huge selection of cultural activities in the city.

June 23: Septic Flesh in Tel Aviv - another big name in heavy metal comes to Tel Aviv

June 23: Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors in Tel Aviv – returning once again to perform to their loyal Tel Aviv fans.

June 28: White Night Tel Aviv – annual night of tens of cultural events taking place across the city.
