January 8 – Sea of Galilee Marathon. The ‘lowest marathon in the world’ takes place, attracting runners from around the world who take part in this scenic course alongside the Sea of Galilee.
January 19 – Lost Frequencies in Tel Aviv. The Belgian DJ and music producer rose to fame in 2014 and will play at the Barby.
January 23 – Sean Paul in Tel Aviv. The Jamaican performer is returning to Israel after nine years for a concert in Tel Aviv.
January-February – Darom Adom (Red South) festival in the Negev desert to celebrate the sprout of Israel’s national flower, featuring cultural, artistic and culinary events.
