Florentin, Tel Aviv

Florentin is Tel Aviv’s Soho, an old neighborhood of the city which hasnt yet been transformed. With a growing yuppie presence including many artists, Florentin is a neighborhood literally and symbolically on the margins. It isnt for everyone, but it is a stark contrast to the modern Tel Aviv which dominates the rest of this city and is renowned for its nightlife.

Jaffa

Jaffa, the Ancient Port which Tel Aviv has grown out of has in recent years, like much of South Tel Aviv, been regenerated. Now another highly desirable part of this city, Jaffa’s flea markets sit beneath million-dollar apartments and alongside trendy cafes. The Old City of Jaffa is a cool place to stroll through with its gardens and narrow pathways, whilst the bustling streets of the flea markets are just as interesting, if not as serene.

Neve Tzedek

Neve Tzedek is an oasis of beauty and calamity within the bustling city of Tel Aviv. With colourful narrow streets lined with boutique galleries, craft shops, and cafes, it is an area perfect for a relaxing stroll.

The White City

Tel Aviv’s White City is one of the city’s coolest and funnest areas. The stunning white Modernist buildings which give the area its name have been recently restored, and this area, which is very much alive, can be best experienced by strolling down some of the fascinating streets such as Rothschild Boulevard or Sheinkin Street, or having a meal in one of the conceptual restaurants here.
