4.3 Relax

Beaches and spas make Israel a great place to relax.

Beaches

Beaches on the Mediterranean can be found in Tel Aviv and along the Coast. There are also beaches at the Dead Sea and on the Red Sea at Eilat.

On the Mediterranean, there are beaches from Nahariya down to Ashkelon.  Israeli's get patriotic about their beaches. For people who live near the sea, it becomes almost a proprietary thing - if you live in Tel Aviv, you might go to the Gordon beach every summer evening - so that would be "your" beach. etc.
