4.6 Nightlife

Tel Aviv's nightlife is of international standards, although the rest of the country isn't bad at all.

Because the week-end in Israel is on Friday and Saturday, the busiest night of the week is Thursday nights. In Tel Aviv, there is a vibrant nightlife each day of the week, although on weekends it is even more vibrant!

Things to consider

• Different bars and clubs in Israel have different age restrictions, and do tend to check ID.
• Whilst the selection of alcohol in bars and clubs in Israel is as big as anywhere, Israeli's are not big drinkers so dont expect to see many drunk people
• Many bartenders in Israel live solely off their tips, so be generous, the suggested rate being 12%
