Madonna arrives in Israel at start of a week of big-name concerts
Madonna, the Queen of Pop arrived at Ben Gurion Airport this morning, along with her kids, two days ahead of the first of two concerts she will be giving in Israel to end her Sticky & Sweet tour. The entourage travelled straight to Tel Aviv, where they will be staying at the David Intercontinental Hotel for the duration of her visit which includes the two concerts on Tuesday and Thursday.
But it isn’t all work. The singer, who is a great supporter of Kabbalah, plans to visit Safed, the home of the mystical sect of Judaism as well as Jerusalem’s Old City and the Western Wall.
Along with Madonna, are reported to come 100 friends and celebrities close to the singer coming to see the last shows on her tour. These guests, rumoured to include the likes of Justin Timberlake are expected to visit Jerusalem with her.
But Madonna’s guests arent the only big-name celebs in Israel this week. Faith No More are performing in the country on Tuesday, whilst MGMT have a concert on Wednesday. Its a mega-week for music in Israel!
